It came to my attention a couple of weeks ago that there is a wide spread IFrame hack taking place on the web. This came up in a thread at my webhost in a forum discussion ( registration may be required to read). Unfortunately, even though this hack has been going on for months and is wide spread it has not received a lot of publicity.

I first heard about heard about installing Honey Pots (or Honey Traps) on web pages several months ago. I had no idea what that meant. In the context in which the references were made I could tell it was a reference to dealing with bad bots, or spiders. I’m not sure if the people were referring to Project Honey Pot or not. They were programmers who a very capable of developing their own honey pots.

A few months ago, my dear friend Deb Gell, the owner of the Websavvy Directory and a fellow SuperMod at the IHelpYou forums, offered me help with making my website accessible. Deb knows so much about web accessibility, WAI-AAA, section 508, etc, it’s unbelievable. I definitely accepted her generous offer, and soon the work began.
